Triathletes are some of the best athletes; they are well-rounded, powerful, have high levels of endurance, and possess extreme mental toughness. As a personal trainer, I have worked with numerous triathletes at all levels.

Okay home gym junkies, if you've stocked your home gym with cardio equipment and you've neglected your weight training options all together, you may want to reconsider your approach to home gym fitness. Did you know that strength training not only builds strong, lean muscle, but also helps burn fat?

Have you ever heard someone complain that they go to the gym for an hour or more 3-4 times a week and they still can't seem to get in shape? They are still complaining about the same 'problem areas'? The question then comes up - what are they doing while they are there?

Core strength is not only an essential trait for athletes and competitors, but it is just as vital for intense competitors and serious fitness junkies as well. You see in order to effectively perform almost any bodily movement you must work on strengthening your body from your core or center.

The ultimate goal in strength training is to build up muscles, the sooner the better. It is not so difficult to gain muscle fast. There is no big secret. However, there are a few tips and tricks that you can do so as quickly as possible.
